SPONA brings together people with different professional backgrounds, interests and experiences. Our work connects research, projects, media, education, culture and community engagement. Roles within the team are intended to reflect real responsibilities rather than decorative titles, and they continue to evolve with the organisation.

President and Legal Representative
Ilhan Radetinac has led NOVA SPONA since 2026. His work focuses on human rights, democracy, transitional justice, environmental justice, media and project development. Within SPONA, he is responsible for the organisation's representation, programme development, institutional cooperation and the connection between project, research and public-facing work.
Executive Director
Uroš Janjić coordinates the organisation's operations and programme implementation, with a focus on turning ideas, decisions and project commitments into concrete team work.

Honorary President
Nemanja Cvetković previously led the organisation during the period in which it operated as NVO 'Balkanac'. As Honorary President, he represents a link with the organisation's earlier work and institutional continuity.
